VOV Colour Crayon Crème Eye Pencil Cobalt Green Review and EOTD

Hello everyone!

I love VOV products for their price range and good quality. I have been searching for something other than brown and black to wear on my eyes. I was fed up with the eye shadows I had since I wanted something easy to use and fall out was a head ache. So I went to my usual store where I get all good brands and was searching for vov nail pints when this caught my eye. I bought three other colours as well in blue, metallic blue and green.

Price:

Rs 60. Now I think its fifty only.

My Take:

Packaging: This eye pencil comes in a cobalt green hued pencil with an opaque cap. Sleek and cute it fits easily in your bag. It is a self explanatory color code.

Colour: It is amazing cobalt green. You may think this looks like olive green but let me clear one thing. Cobalt green is green with yellow or golden undertones where as olive green is green with brown undertones. It has tiny gold shimmer particles. Amazingly festive and will suit warm and cool tones since it has golden tones in it.

Texture: The pencil is very soft but won’t break so there isn’t a problem. One swipe gives immense color. It blends and smudges really well

Staying power: It stays for around 5 hours on my eyes without fading. Oily lids will have to use loose powder and then use it for good staying power

Fragrance: None that I noticed

Description of the look:

Golden eye shadow in the inner corner and VOV cobalt green eye pencil in outer corner smudged and blended together.
Kajal on water line and the same eye pencil on lower lash line.
I didn’t use mascara here but of course mascara can be added for more dramatic eyes.

It’s a soft festival look ideal for parties and traditional occasions

Do I Recommend?:

Of course yes! For a soft green look it is a must. As you can see it can be blended and can be used as an eye shadow as well. and no fall out yippee!

Colorbar I Glide Eye Pencil Passionately Gold Review

Hey all.. How are you? I am today here to review an eye pencil. Everyone knows how popular these pencils are and now I too love these. I bought two shades of this range which are the passionately gold 008 and moss green 004.

My Take:

This product looks like a plastic silver colored pencil. Packaging just looks good and cute. The cap is tight enough and is travel friendly. But I saw that the main product inside the pencil is soft and weak. So it can break easily if you do not keep it safe or handle properly. The expiry date is printed on the pencil itself. So you need not keep the outer cover at all.

As the name says, the shade is golden color. It has some glittery look and pigmented which it also shows on the skin as well. The pencil glides on the skin easily and doesn’t smudge also. Also it is waterproof. So even if splash some water on your face, it is not going to smudge at all. The product is so smooth like a gel liner. Just glide once and you are done. You need not apply a second coat at all. Even it gives a thick layer so if you glide more than once on your eyelid, it is not going to look that good, I guess.

It definitely stays long for at least 8-10 hours and then starts fading. For oily skinnies, it may stay minimum 5 hours. Moreover it stays on the waterline for hours. Isn’t that great? The swatch pic shows how a single stroke of it looks on the skin. It gives very good look but I think this shade suits fair skins better than dark beauties. It is perfect for golden eye makeup. But if you want to smudge it for smokey look, you need to be very quick. Smudge it as soon as possible because it is going to set on the skin so fast. The problem with this product is the price though it is a worth the price. Also I hate the sharpening process. Lots of the product gets wasted due to sharpening. Not only sharpening, since it is so smooth and weak, the product tends to break while sharpening.

Faces Ultimate Pro Shine On Eyeliner Moonlit Review, Swatches and EOTD

Today I will be reviewing a bright blue eyeliner from Faces Cosmetics Ultimate Pro Range. This shade I am reviewing now is named as Moonlit and there’s also another shade available called Emerald Dazzle.

Claims of the Eyeliner:

Extraordinary color to make you shine! Gives a long lasting and intense shiny finish. Comes with a felt tip for precise application. Exquisitely lush and quick drying. Totally water and smudge proof.

My Take on Faces Ultimate Pro Shine On Eyeliner Moonlit:

This liquid eyeliner comes in a sleek plastic tube (that shows the exact shade of the liner!) with a comfortable felt tip applicator.

It is a bright party blue shade with a hint of navy. It contains fine silver shimmer. The shimmer neither feels gritty nor looks OTT on the eyes. The pigmentation is good too, though not the best. (But I don’t like the smell! ugh..) With single swipe, it pays off the right amount of color; and the brush makes it easier to draw both thin and thicker lines.

Swatches:

The eyeliner dries off quickly and doesn’t smudge for a long time. I wore it on my upper lash line for more than 10 hours and it still sits there without major fading at the end of the day. Even after removing the eyeliner with an eye makeup remover, few shimmers refuse to go off. Overall, I would call this a beautiful bright blue shade with silver shimmers which is more suitable for parties and occasions. I will not be using it for daily wear; but still, I am in love with this blue so much! These are must buy if you are a lover of colored eyeliners with long staying power (And if you don’t mind the price!)

Hard to remove even with a makeup remover

I highly recommend these liquid eyeliners from Faces Ultimate Pro Range. They have two beautiful shades with long staying power. I love the lipsticks from this range too; I will review one soon!

Not this same shade but I am eyeing out for Emerald Dazzle. I find that more beautiful than this!.
