Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color Peachy Pink Review

Hey everyone!

I’m so excited since it’s my first review on MABH and Today I’m here with Coloressence Lip Color in shade Peachy Pink which is one of my favorites now. Well I’m not a lipstick girl. I use them occasionally but yet love them a lot.

Price:

Rs.125 for 4 g

My Take:

The packaging of this lipstick is quite good. As you can see the lipstick is packed in a paper made outer cover. The main lipstick is packed in a black colored plastic container.

The lipstick smells very normal. Difficult to explain but it’s not bad though. It’s easily available. This lipstick doesn’t show the color from outside. So while buying, you need to open the cap and check the shade. Also if you have many lipsticks, it’s kind of irritating to open the cap and check each and every shade. It is definitely a travel friendly lipstick due to good packaging.

The color in the tube you see shows the same on your lips as well. It shows slight glittery but you can’t find them on lips at all. As the name says, it is not so peachy actually. It’s a very natural shade and so it is very good for daily use. It definitely suits almost all skin tones. It also covers pigments nicely but with few swipes.

A big disadvantage is that it is extremely dry. You need to swipe 3 to 4 times to apply it properly. I don’t know if the claim of presence of almond oil and vitamin E is true or not since it’s not showing any moisturizing effects. I recommend using a lip balm underneath it. The staying power is okay. It stays for 3-4 hours if you are applying lip balm as well and 4-5 hours if you are using it directly. But if you eat or drink anything, it’ll fade immediately. It doesn’t bleed at all.

PROS:

  • Affordable
  • Good packaging
  • Travel friendly
  • Easily available
  • Nice shade that suits almost every skin tone
  • Stays good enough
  • Doesn’t contain animal ingredients
  • 100% vegetarian
  • Good for pigmented lips
  • Doesn’t bleed

CONS:

  • Doesn’t show the color from outside
  • Very dry
  • Fragrance is artificial

Rating:

3.5/5

Will I Repurchase It?:

Yes but not for me. I’ll try other shades. But it is a worth try product. I’ll buy this for my mum because it’s the first lipstick she liked (She never used lipsticks). It looks so natural on her 😉

Colorbar Velvet Matte Sultry Pink Lipstick Review, Swatches and LOTD

Hi girls!

Today’s review is of a lipstick from an extremely popular range – the Colorbar Velvet Matte lipsticks. The shade I’ll be reviewing for you today is Sultry Pink. This is less of a review and more of a song of praise. You have been warned.

Price and Quantity:

Rs 250 for 4.2g. I think they’ve hiked the price to 275 now! It is available on discount at some online shopping sites.

My Take:

These lipsticks come in a very sleek silver packaging with a transparent lid. The lipstick also has a colored bottom so you can easily identify the shade. I really like the packaging. I think it’s a refreshing change from black and brown coloured tubes!

Coming to the texture of this lipstick, it’s quite creamy – almost velvety (see what I did there? 😀 yeah okay moving on). The shade Sultry Pink is a very deep pink. This shade would look gorgeous on fair and dusky beauties alike. The lipstick offers full coverage (the number of swipes required will depend on how pigmented your lips are.)

The ‘2-in-1 formulation that gives the lips a creamy, yet matte finish’ claim is also true because, though the lipstick is a matte finish one, it neither feels dry on the lips nor tugs on the lips.

Another notable thing about this lipstick is that it leaves a stain on the lips when it fades. The stain left is quite even and is a lovely matte pink. It doesn’t go until you remove it with a makeup remover. I think this is a huge plus point for girls with pigmented lips because even when the lipstick fades, your lips are still left looking healthy and pink. Love! 😀

LOTD:

PROS:

  • Very reasonably priced
  • Easily available
  • Universally flattering shade of pink
  • Gives full coverage
  • Smooth matte finish with slight sheen
  • Leaves a stain on fading
  • Does not feel dry on the lips
  • Does not bleed

CONS:

  • Staying power is only about 3 hours
  • Settles into fine lines a bit (this is expected since this is a matte lipstick but I’m still putting this down)

Rating: 4.5/5

Final Word:

Sultry Pink is a lovely, extremely flattering shade of pink that will instantly light up any skin tone.  I really wish I could have given this 5 on 5 but it does have a few minor flaws. If you haven’t bought one of these lipsticks already then go now! These are absolutely brilliant in terms of coverage, texture and price. You can’t go wrong with these. I highly recommend this lipstick. 🙂

BH Cosmetics 32 Color Lip Gloss Palette Review and Swatches

Hey dearies,

Today I am up with my one and only lip palette. That is none other than BH cosmetics 32 lip gloss palette. Read on to know more about the palette. Enjoy the pics and swatches!

Price:

$18.95 but BH cosmetics always offer some discounts so you can get it in lesser price also 🙂

My Take:

Well coming to the packaging, the palette comes in black matte sturdy case with printed above ’32 color palette’  The palette claims to be a lip gloss palette but I found it contains both lipsticks with satin finish and lip gloss. The palette contains four rows with 8 lip pans in each row. The palette contain different shades of pink, orange, red and a white one which when I swatched it shows white color. I guess it’s ideal for Halloween.

First Row: Starting from left the shade 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 are lipsticks with satin finish. While shade 3 and 5 are lip glosses.

Second Row: Leaving the shade 4 all the rest are lipsticks.

Third Row: Leaving the shade 4 all are lipsticks.

Fourth Row: All are lipsticks and only the 2nd shade has shimmer in it among the 32 shades and it is super pigmented!

Now you can see hardly 2-3 lip pan are glosses all the rest are satin finish lip colors. Now I would love to mention some shades that I think are very much pigmented. They are from 1st row shade no. 4, 6, 7, and 8. From second row the shades are 2, 3, and 7.  From third row 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. From fourth row shades are 2, 5, 7, 8. Rest are medium pigmented.

Here are the lip swatches of two of my favorite shades from the palette.

I brought this palette in 10 dollar offer plus shipping 12.45 dollar. As it was in offer so I can’t resist myself to get it. The palette contains some really nice shades. And not to mention it contains all shades starting from orange, pink, brown , red and even a deep maroon one which is why worth to buy. It is travel friendly as it is sleek so easy to carry while travelling. The shades are mostly satin finish and staying power is 3-4 hours on my lips. It can survive small snacks. It transfers to cups and glasses which little is embarrassing.  I wish the palette comes with a lip brush and a mirror.

PROS:

  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Have 32 different shades in one palette.
  • The lipsticks are satin finish so not drying out your lips.
  • The staying power is 3-4 hours.
  • The palette contains mixed pigmented and medium pigmented shades.
  • There is no smell in lip colors so I guess that is good one 🙂

CONS:

  • The shades are transferable.
  • Can’t survive big meals.
  • Expensive.
  • Some shades are not for all skin types.
  • No mirror or lip brush provided.
  • Availability is an issue.

My Final Thoughts:

I would definitely say there is nothing so special in it that I would recommend you to buy it. Still if you are a shopaholic one then in offer you can grab one just like I did!
