Before finding out this sunscreen product from Lotus my relationship with sunscreens were always of LOVE-HATE type. I could not live without them and using them was equally painful. Often I used to get breakouts on skin using sunscreens as most of them give oily sweaty skin. Also I hated the white cast left behind that took hours to go. Finally three years back before a trip to Andaman I came across this product in a shop when I was trying to find a decent sunscreen that will be helpful for the trip. The words ‘matte gel’ attracted me a lot and without giving a second thought, I bought the product. Since then, for the last three years it is one of my most loyal friends. Read more to know why?

How to Control Hair fall caused due to Rebonding? : Reader Query

Hello Lancy,

First of all, I love reading your blog. All the DIY recipes here are awesome and very practical. Keep it up! I have a queries about my hair. I have fine straight, a bit wavy hair. I got them rebonded 1 year back. And since then hair fall is a routine. I am trying my best to combat it and also grow my hair long so that rebonded hair can be replaced.

I use olive oil, castor oil and coconut oil mixed with few drops of essential oil twice weekly in hot oil massage. Currently I use The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture range for my hair. It is working fine but hair fall is still continuing.

Most of the hair fall occurs during oiling, shampooing and detangling. So could you suggest me some hair detangler or serum/oil which is silicone free. Most of the products have silicone but I am not sure if it is good or not. And also I would love to find out some cheaper alternative, which is also sls and silicone free.

How are you all? I am new to MABH and so I am super excited about my first article here. Today I am sharing a magic recipe with you all. This is homemade cashew and almond lip scrub. This scrub helped me a lot to get rid of dry and dead cell layers on the pouts. This scrub also helped me to reduce dark black patches on my lips. This is definitely a very easy to make formula but truly it has done magic to my lips. Please go through to know more.

Ingredients:

  • 6-7 fresh cashew nuts
  • 3-4 almonds
  • Almond oil
  • Rose water

Note : I have used here Humdard rogan badam sirin (almond oil) and I am using a local brand as very known rose water – Dabur gulabri jal doesn’t suit me at all.
