Best Pimple Reducing Face Pack I’ve Found Over Years of Research : Recipe, Step by Step Tutorial

Acne is an issue that affects universally to both men and women. One thing that I still battle with, if proper care is not taken. Over the years after researching I have found one face pack that works wonderfully to treat acne. This is a simple face pack with simple ingredients that come together to being an immensely fruitful face pack. The products required for this face pack are very easily available too. This is a completely herbal pack hence chances of allergies on skin are very less. Now let us move on to knowing the recipe!

sandalwood, red sandalwood, multani mitti

Ingredients:

  • Multani mitti- 1 tsp
  • Chandan/sandalwood powder- 1 tsp
  • Red sandalwood powder- 1 tsp
  • Rose water/Unboiled milk
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Steps

Take a clean bowl and add equal quantity of multani mitti, sandalwood powder and red sandalwood powder. Make sure the quantity of all ingredients are same. Mix all the ingredients well in the bowl with the help of a spoon.

It is important to mix the powder’s first and then add liquid to avoid clumping.

Once the mixture is even then add rose water or unboiled milk. If you have oily skin, then rose water is recommended and if you have dry skin then unboiled milk is what works the best.

Add rose water or milk little by little and mix it well until you achieve a favorable consistency.

Now apply this face pack generously across your face and neck and gentle massage the face pack. If you have an acne break out, avoid rubbing it there.

Keep it on for 20 minutes and wash the face pack with water.

Use this face pack 3 times a week to get best results and keep acne and pimples at bay.

Get to know the ingredients better:

Although just 3 ingredients are used in this face pack, all three of them are very productive ingredient’s which benefit the facial skin in several ways, keeping pimples and acne at bay being the most prominent one.

Multani Mitti : Fuller’s earth as it is popularly known is well known for its benefits on oily skin. It helps in eliminating the excess oil from the skin thus preventing unwanted oil secretion leading to acne, pimples and other skin related issues.

Sandalwood powder : Popularly known as chandan powder is again very popular in India for its versatility. It is very beneficial to treat pimples, acne, hyperpigmentation etc.

Red sandalwood powder : It is also known as rakthachandanam. The red sandalwood powder is even better than regular sandalwood powder. It is often used in the treatment of scars. It has antiseptic properties that kills the bacteria on the skin and thus eliminating the chances of pimple formation. Red sandalwood powder alone serves as a very good face treatment.

Unboiled milk : This suits the dry skin as unboiled milk nourishes the dry skin very well. As the basic ingredients in this face pack are drying on the skin, the milk balances it out. Meanwhile for oily skin, rose water is the best option.

DIY Almond Face Mask – Removes Deep Tan, Blemishes and Firms Skin

There are few face masks that I swear by and I use it often, probably not on a regular basis but I know that it will for sure help me in certain situations. One such face mask is this almond, honey and milk face mask. I started experimenting with almonds on skin as I do not like to eat nuts much.

I think it was during one of the Diwali times, that I received a hell lot of almonds as gift and I did not know what to do with it. So I tried to incorporate them in my regular face packs. So at the end of many permutations and combinations with a lot of face packs, I ended up with this one, which is my favorite face mask of all times. 3 ingredients and hell lot of benefits giving amazing results on the skin. You need to use it to believe it!

DIY Face Pack to Prevent Acne, Reduce Scars & Brighten Skin in ONE Month

Time flies by so quickly! That is exactly what I felt as I was flipping through my old photo albums a few days ago. To a great many of you, photo albums might be a thing of the past. Right? Mobile phones, sorry SMART phones with cameras have long replaced photo albums. Well I am not whining but somewhere the charm and innocence that that era of 90s had where watching photos in family get-togethers was a grand affair itself coupled with a piping hot cup of tea and light banter, is missing today.

Anyway, while going through one such album of mine, I saw my childhood pictures. The first thing that exploded in my mind was to set “some” of those hideous photos to fire but I resisted the temptation for they reminded me of how I can look hideous and pose like a diva back in childhood unlike these days when a minor flaw must be concealed to look picture – perfect!

Oh nostalgia! Finally, I came across one picture of mine which was taken immediately after I recovered from a degenerative bout of what might be the top cause of me locking myself in my room today. Without further ado, let me confess it was ACNE!

Apart from the routine medication and mom’s unstinted efforts to rid me off it, I remember my maternal grandmother’s “gharelu nuskha” (home remedy) to rid me off its scars.  And thanks to mom’s and granny’s efforts, I recovered well. So, I thought of penning the same remedy for you all.
