Neem Face Pack for Acne and Blemish Free Skin

Hi everyone!
Most of the teens main worry is acne these days ๐Ÿ™ Acne is caused by many physical and mental health problems such as hormonal imbalance, stress, improper diet and vitamin deficiency. To prevent acne we should include fresh fruits and vegetables in our daily diet cutting down the fried oily foods and junk food items. I do get acne rarely but still I would manage it every time with few skin care routines and diet plans.

If I get no time to follow all these, I would simply apply a magical face pack which cures acne overnight or within 2 days. The acne bumps gets dry and fall off when we use this face pack. Is it a chemical one? or a branded cosmetic face pack? Not at all. ๐Ÿ˜€ I prepare this every time at home in a quick method. This face pack is fully herbal as I prepare it with Neem. I hope you all know what is Neem. Luckily there’s a Neem tree near my house, so I could easily pluck some leaves from my terrace.

I have prepared a neem powder by grinding dried neem leaves which I have collected and dried in shade for a couple of weeks. I use this powder whenever I get acne and whenever I feel to clear out the scars and spots. This powder can be used in all the seasons :). The greenish powder won’t be too fine but still it is okay to use as a natural acne clearing face pack. If this face pack is applied thrice a week, it vanishes out all the blemishes ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜€ Look at the picture below, dried neem leaves which I have collected.

Now I will tell you all few important facts about this neem face pack. Neem is an ayurvedic medicine which is really good for our skin ๐Ÿ™‚ . It does helps our skin in many ways without any side effects ๐Ÿ™‚ So, this face pack is fully natural and organic, so that you can never worry about side effects.

NEEM ACNE AND BLEMISH CLEARING FACE PACK

1. Take two teaspoons of neem powder in a small bowl.

2. Add few drops of rose water and lemon juice to make a thin paste like this.

3. The consistency won’t be like what all the other packed face packs have. It won’t be fine or smooth but it is quite enough to use as a face pack. Take a look at this! The paste when applied over skin, will look something like this..

HOW TO APPLY
  • Wash your face with a gentle face wash and pat dry.
  • Spread this neem paste allover your face and neck, leave on for half an hour.
  • Wash off with clean and cold water. Moisturize! That’s it ๐Ÿ™‚
  • If you’re too lazy like me just apply this paste over you acne before going to bed at night. It will clear out the acne by reducing the bulge. ๐Ÿ™‚
I have already mentioned the results above, so I believe you all got to know how good neem is ! ๐Ÿ™‚

NOTE: This Neem facial pack suits all skin types. Add two drops of glycerin if you have extremely dry skin ๐Ÿ™‚ No worries! Have a acne free and blemish free face! Good luck friends!

Skin Softening Body Lotion at Home

Hello everyone!
Past two days I am posting beauty tips which are useful for the winter season. Today I am going to post a homemade skin softening body lotion recipe which is suitable to use in all the seasons, especially in winters to prevent dryness in your skin. Just before an hour I made this body lotion and it is really awesome; smells pleasant too. Let me explain you all with step by step instructions and pictures!

Homemade Skin Softening Winter Body Lotion:

Ingredients:

  • Vaseline or any other petroleum jelly
  • Vitamin E capsules
  • Glycerin
  • Small bowl
  • Old body lotion or face wash bottle

Usage and Results:ย

  • It is a chemical free, very natural homemade skin softening lotion which also fades scars and evens out complexion.
  • You should use this lotion over your skin after every bath and before going to bed every night to nourish your skin and give softness. You can see visible results within a week.
  • It prevents dryness and softens the skin instantly.
  • I recommend all aged people to prepare this lotion at home and use it in winter and also in summer if you have dry skin. Even children can use this to achieve a softy softy skin.

Method:

1.Take a clean small bowl and add Vaseline to it as shown in the image below.

2. Now take the Vitamin E capsules (I used 4 capsules for a 7g Vaseline pack) and make holes in it using a pin, extract the oil from the capsules. Pour this extracted oil into the Vaseline bowl.

3. Now add required glycerin to the Vaseline and Vitamin E oil mixture. Blend well with a clean spoon. You can also add few drops of essential oils like sandal wood oil, lavender oil, rose essence or any other one for a pleasant flavor. Now heat this bowl until the mixture melts (It takes only 5 to 10 secs to melt) as shown in the below picture

4. Once the mixture gets melted, turn off the stove and pour this mixture immediately to an old lotion bottle or a face wash bottle. I used clean and clean face wash bottle to store this body lotion. Allow the mixture to set and get thicker for 10 minutes. You can refrigerate this lotion for fast setting and a cooling effect on your skin. This lotion is transparent, non greasy and easily gets absorbed by skin. With daily usage, it fades out the body scars and dark spots as it contains Vitamin E, a natural scar remover.

I hope you all like this homemade skin softening body lotion recipe. Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚ Leave your comments below ๐Ÿ™‚

How to Extract Aloe Vera Gel at Home? : Tutorial

Hello everyone!
Today, I’m sharing something about the miraculous plant – Aloe vera!ย Aloevera has a lot of anti inflammatory properties and that acts as a best natural medicine for cuts, sunburns and wounds. It also containsย so much of beauty benefits and just before few weeks I got to know them from a beautician!
In this post I am going to write ‘a step by step procedure’ on extracting aloe vera gel directly from the plant.
Aloe Vera Plantย (Snap taken from my terrace)
ย
Things Needed:
  • Aloevera leaf (Taken from the plant)
  • A sharp knife
  • A small bowl
Method:
ย
1. Cut a fresh looking aloevera leaf from the plant (Preferably from the center as it will be young and tener). This is how the aloe vera leaf looks. After cutting it from the plant allow the yellow liquid to get out of it for sometime (Some people are allergic to it!) and wash the leaf with clean water.
2. After washing the leaf, gently scrap the thick green skin from both sides of the leaf with your sharp knife. Be careful while doing this because the thorns in the edges of the leaf may scratch your skin.
3. After peeling the skin off, you will get the fresh transparent pulp which is slippery. It will look something like this..
4. Save this gel in a clean bowl and paste it user a mixer. (Don’t add water, the pulp has a lot of moisture itself).
Done! This is the aloevera gel which we can use as a skin and hair care remedy at home. Store this gel in refrigerator. The refrigerated aloe gel can be used for a week ๐Ÿ™‚
If you’re allergic to fresh aloe vera gel, I suggest you to check out the Nature’s Essence Aloe Gel.
