Coloressence Bridal Kajal Review, Swatch and EOTD

Good day mates! How are you all doing? Today I am going to review Coloressence Bridal Kajal for you. Kajal is one essential makeup product that we Indians can never think of going out without it, for high makeup to no makeup look.

Price and Quantity:

Rs. 99 for 2.5 g.

My Take:

Coloressence is the cosmetic range of the herbal brand Nature’s Essence, and beforehand, I have used products from both the range. Till date, I have not experienced any bad experience with this brand; so, I thought why not try my favorite part of my makeup, kajal from this brand.

This kajal comes in a very chic black stick packaging. The kajal smells pretty nice. The brand claims to get the perfect color in one stroke, and that is true. One stroke gives a deep color on the eyes. The color is also very preferable, jet black. Pointy end of this kajal stick helps to get a perfect line on the eyelids. But, after using it for a long time, the stick becomes blunt and difficult to draw a fine line.

It is highly pigmented; the kajal does not easily smudge or fades (until rubbing eyes vigorously, which I occasionally do). It does not cause any irritation or inflammation to my eyes, keeps it cool. Staying power is average, stays perfect for 3-4 hours, then starts to smudge a little from the lower lid, but never fades. For that time, I only wipe the lower part of my lower eye lids and my eyes look perfect again.

I have uses similar kajal sticks from Lotus Herbals and I must say, in comparison to looks and color, this wins. Even my Lotus smudges and fades very soon, unlike this one. So, bottom line, I loved it and I am so glad that I bought it.

Ayur Herbals Sandal Face Pack Review and Photos

by Arshita

Hello dear friends! I am a fan of face pack powders, and after using Ayur Neem Face Pack, I was very keen to try Ayur’s Sandal pack also. So, today I will review Ayur Herbals Sandal Face Pack. Things has been changed since I last bought this face pack two months back, the cover has been changed and it is now called ‘New’ Ayur Herbals Sandal Face Pack. Anyways, here I present the details of this product.

Claims of the Face Pack:

An excellent face pack for normal and dry skin helps in curing local inflammations. It removes wrinkles and conditions dry and undernourished skin. It has an excellent cooling effect.

Price and quantity:

Rs. 15 for 25 g, Rs. 40 for 100 g.

Key Ingredients:

Fuller’s earth, Calamine powder, Starch Powder, Sandal (Santalum album) powder, Zinc oxide.

Usage Directions:

Mix 1 tablespoon of Sandal Face Pack with Rose water to make a paste. Apply it evenly on the face & neck. Allow it to dry. Wash the face with cold water.

Shelf life:

36 months.

My Take on Ayur Herbals Sandal Face Pack:

I was totally impressed with Ayur Neem Face Pack and my expectations were bit high for this one also. And, to be honest, it stood strong. I wish with the outer cartoon, the packaging of this face pack would also have been changed. This face pack is a mixture in form of powder, and it comes sealed in a plastic sachet (means need air tight jar or bottle to store it).

The smell is very herbal and sandalwood like pleasant. Unlike the neem face pack, this powder is very smooth and fine.I have combination skin, normal skin with T-zone oily, and under my eyes and on the cheeks I have dry patches. Some times in winter days, it becomes flaky. I have been using this face pack since one year and in winter I never forget to use this. And my dry patches are almost gone (coincidence?).

This face pack gives a cooling feel while applied on the skin. Because of the smooth and fine powder, the paste also becomes smooth and easy to apply on the skin. Applied with rose water, this face pack turns out very well. And my skin stays perfectly balanced in moisture after using this face pack; neither makes my skin oily nor dries it out. It also makes my skin soft and smooth.

I buy the 25 g pack always and it each pack gives me more or less ten times of uses. Thinking about buying a larger pack next time as my hands are little dry and it would be perfect for my manicure hand pack. Overall, I love this face pack. It cured my undernourished areas on my skin; it keeps my skin balanced in moisture without making it oily or dry. So, thumbs up from me!

Why I like this Face Pack?:

  • 100% herbal.
  • Pocket friendly.
  • Does what claims.
  • Gives an instant glow.
  • Stays balanced in moisture.
  • Does not dry out skin.
  • Cures dry patches.
  • Makes skin soft.
  • Small amount will go a long time.

Why I don’t like this Face Pack?:

  • Sachet packaging.

MABH Rating: 4.9/5

Do I Recommend?:

Yes, especially for dry skin.

Would I Repurchase?:

Yes, dry patches are barely there, but still.

Coloressence Mesmerising Magenta Janta Lip Color Review and Swatches

Hello dear friends!

Candidly, I never liked magenta color lipsticks until I saw Kareena Kapoor wearing one in the song ‘Muskan Jhoothi Hai’ from the film ‘Talaash’. I finally gathered courage and bought one at that time and though I don’t have great complexion like Kareena, the color actually suited me. Since then, I bought another two shades of magenta and one of them is Magenta Janta. So, here are the details.

Price and quantity:

Rs. 150 for 4 g.

My Take:

The packaging of this lipstick is very appealing and stylish. It smells good also. The bullet is little bit dry which brings trouble while applying. I apply lip balm before wearing this lipstick. The color of this lipstick is dark and yet bright. One swipe is good for little bit lighter look, two to three swipes will give a great reddish magenta color.

This lipstick is highly pigmented, one swipe cover ups the lips. This lipstick gives a very nice matte look (contrary to its description on the cover). Because of it being little bit dry, this shade appears matte. I like matte lipsticks a lot and I think this might be one of the reasons that I like this lipstick. Staying power is average, for 4-5 hours (including eating session). It does not fade or gathers pigment on the fine lines of the lips. For wearing this lipstick long hours leaves a red tint on the lips for some time.

For my evening looks, I use this lipstick and even if not wearing too much makeup, this helps me get a very bright look. I have previously bought magenta lipsticks from different brands; they were more on the side of plum shade rather than red (like this one). So, overall, I loved this lipstick and the shade (though my Oriflame Pure Color lipstick shade is closer to the one Kareena wore) too. 😛

Why I like?:

  • Highly pigmented.
  • Gives a matte look.
  • Does not fade.
  • Fair pricing.
  • Decent product.
  • Good packaging and outer look.
  • Good brand.
  • Survives Eating Session.
  • Beautiful and bold shade.

Why I don’t like?:

  • Stays for 4-5 hours.
  • Does not moisture lips (as the brand claims).

Rating: 4.8/5.

Do I Recommend?:

Yes, it is great for evening makeup.

Would I Repurchase?:

Yes.
