Minnie Mouse Nail Art Tutorial and NOTD

Hello friends!

I don’t really mind if you tell me to grow up, because I am still addicted to animations. And, I won’t even miss a Mickey Mouse show for anything.

I know there are many Mickey Mouse show lovers out there, right? So, keeping mind that polka dots never left being unfashionable, I thought of trying an Animation inspired nail art and what else is better way to start off other that Minnie Mouse nail art which includes both polka dots and the cutest of all, Bows!. So, here is my tutorial of Minnie Mouse Nail Art.

Elle 18 Nail Pops Shade No.53 Review and NOTD

by Arshita

Hello friends!
I am back with another Elle 18 Color Pops Shade, i.e. shade no. 53. I am very much into shocking colors these days, but this one is very soft aqua blue color. Now, let us check out the review.

Price & quantity:

Rs. 50 for 5 ml.

Shelf Life:

36 months.

My Take on Elle 18 Nail Pops Shade No. 53:

Elle 18 Color Pops has the cutest little round bottles. The applicator brush is also very apt and smooth for application. The consistency of the liquid is just appropriate, not too thick or too thin.

It is very easy to apply on the nails without messing up. But, the one thing that bothered me a little is the little bubbles in the liquid which hinders it to being a smooth and shiny application. Though in spite of those little bubbles, the appearance is somewhat glossy and shiny. Yet, it would be perfect without the bubbles.

Anyways, the gloss and the shine stays for a long time, it does not chip out easily. The aqua color is very soft and classy for individual application or any nail art purposes. Just like I could not resist the beautiful aqua and fuchsia combination and made that little bow. The color is very proper, and not-so-bright; I think it will suit all type of skin tones.

It dries quickly, and need not more than one minute in between applying coats. Also, it is easy to remove with remover without any trace. So, final word, I loved the shade, the gloss in spite of those tiny bubbles. Getting such proper and nice color that would last intact for 5-6 days in such affordable price is I think worth buying! 😉

Why I like this Nail Color?:

  • Good quality.
  • Affordable Price.
  • Proper Shade.
  • Gives a smooth and shiny look.
  • Stays intact for 5-6 days.
  • Does not lose shine or gloss.

Why I don’t like this Nail Color?:

  • The tiny bubbles in the liquid.

MABH Rating: 5/5.

Do I recommend?:

Yes.

Would I Repurchase?:

Yes, absolutely.

Most Effective Homemade Scrubs for Smooth and Flawless Skin

by Arshita

Hello everyone!

The one thing that stands between us and our smooth and flawless skin is those rough dead cells. Once they are removed, we experience smooth, baby-soft skin that is enviable. So, here I am sharing some homemade scrubs to get rid of the dead cells and enjoy smooth and flawless soft skin.

Oatmeal Scrub: By now, we all are proverbial with the benefits of oatmeal scrub. The steel cut oats are best for skin; we can use both full oats and ground oats. Take two tablespoons of uncooked oats or ground oats and soak it in two tablespoons of olive oil. Once, it is completely soaked, take it in your both hands and gently scrub on the face and neck in circular motions. Scrub for 5 minutes and wash with an herbal face wash. Oats work as a great exfoliate and olive oil naturally moisturizes the skin. The result will be a soft glowing skin.

Brown Sugar Scrub: Sugar is used for scrubbing since the time of Cleopatra. Take two tablespoons of brown sugar and mix it with three tablespoons of lemon juice and one tablespoon of coconut oil. Now, gently scrub face and neck area with this mixture and wash with plain water. All the ingredients are best for lightening the skin tone and removing tan while also scrubbing off the dead cells. This scrub will result in soft, smooth and lighter-toned skin.

Almond Scrub: Almond is very good for keeping the skin clear and glowing. Take 5-6 almonds and ground it into powder. Mix it with two tablespoon honey and gently scrub your face and neck area with this mixture.
Almond naturally moisturizes the skin and makes skin glowing; on the other hand, honey removes tan and makes skin visibly clear and smooth. Regular use of this scrub will give you an enviable glowing healthy skin.

Banana Scrub: Banana clears impurities and reduces fine lines. Mash one ripe (not rotten) banana and mix with one tablespoon honey and one tablespoon steel cut oats. Now, scrub your face and neck area with this mixture for 5-10 minutes and wash off with plain water. This scrub will remove your tan and give you an instant glowing skin.

Rice Flour Scrub: Rice flour is vastly used in Asian countries to get smooth glowing skin. Take two tablespoons of rice flour and two tablespoons yogurt. Now, scrub face and neck area with this mixture for 5-10 minutes and then wash off with plain water.

Rice flour is a natural exfoliate, and yoghurt is also natural skin whitening agent. Use this scrub daily before taking bath and you will get a smooth, glowing skin at home.

So, try these homemade natural scrubs at home and in no time get baby-soft enviable skin. I hope you guys like my tips. Do let us know how you like it.
